In every October, CSC would take part in the Asian American Festival at Hermann Park. Taiwanese arts, crafts and cultural information are displayed in exhibition booth. In addition, Taiwanese aboriginal folk dance, kung fu, and instrumental music are performed on the Satellite Stage in the park.

In 2000, a high school orchestra in Houston was invited to perform Taiwanese songs at the Taiwanese Community Center.
